Birmingham City Council (BCC) has announced that it is saving four of its Youth Centres that were previously thought to be at risk: The Factory, The Lighthouse, Concord Youth Centre and Shard End Youth Centre.
These four centres will now continue to be run and managed by BCC's Youth Service.
However, at the end of last year, BCC had invited Expressions of Interest (EoIs) from community organisations that were interested in taking over the running of these buildings via Community Asset Transfer (CAT). This option will no longer be available for these four centres.
Save Birmingham would like to collect information from community groups that submitted an Expression of Interest for these specific Youth Centres.
Please find a link to the survey here. If you would like to complete it anonymously, then the final questions asking for contact information are optional.
Many Thanks
The Save Birmingham Team
