Community Places

We’re working to protect our community places by officially registering them as ‘assets of community value’. This means when they’re put up for sale, communities have the right to try to own or run them.

As a first step, we want to list community places that have been nominated by the people of Birmingham as important to them on our website. See which community places have been identified near you and whether they have been officially registered yet.

If you’re ready to take the next step, please read our guidance about applying to officially register a community place as an asset of community value.

If you can’t find a community place that you think should be part of our campaign, please nominate a community place.
